TrainE-TraidE is a Jewish non-profit organisation which was founded in April 2006. It assists people in creating long term sustainable incomes either through building businesses or creating employment. TrainE-TraidE creates opportunities for everyone, at any life stage in any situation.
TrainE-TraidE’s aim is to provide people with essential lifelong skills to support themselves and their families by:
* Providing support to get people into or back into work
* Assisting graduates in finding work placements
* Training people in vocational qualifications
* Enabling people to make informed career choices
* Increasing the success rate and long term sustainability of new and existing businesses
TrainE-TraidE provides the following services:
TrainE-TraidE offers a number of training courses, focusing on essential employability skills and specific vocational disciplines. Courses include Graphic Design, Web Design, Bookkeeping and Beauty Therapy.
- Career Guidance
Book a bespoke appointment with an experienced careers adviser. Content may include potential career paths, suggested training courses and other aspects of your job search to support and guide you towards your new career.
TrainE-TraidE's business and planning services support entrepreneurship and encourage innovation, helping people to set up businesses to support themselves and their families.
- STEP-UP (Job Readiness programme)
A series of workshops designed to help you get ready for work, including CV writing, networking and interview skills, IT training and practical workplace tools.
- Job Placements
For candidates who have attended a STEP-UP Job Searching workshop, CVs are entered onto TrainE-TraidE's placement database and clients are given access to the wide range of permanent, temporary or apprenticeship vacancies available
- Networking, Special Events and Programmes
Seminars, events and programmes geared to meet the requirements of specific groups of clients, including Back to Work for Women, Career Networking for students and the Summer Placement programme.
Benefit from ongoing support by joining our mentoring programme. Mentors are usually professionals working in the client's sector of choice, offering advice and information via regular face-to-face meetings along wth interim telephone and email communication.
